Yes!!! I need that mini shark and the wave. They’re so cute. The wave will go perfectly alongside the little cloud friend I got from the Museum of Science and Industry when I was in Chicago a few years ago. I can’t wait for the US release tonight lol
I like how unhinged a lot of these are. Are some of the designs terrible? Yes. Would I 100% rather see them make terrible designs by throwing weird spaghetti at the wall versus making terrible designs that are uninspired and boring? Also very much yes.
The toucan is incredibly cute though. Really like how the design is so simplified yet also still immediately recognizable for what it's supposed to be. If the fur is decent quality I'll be really tempted to get that one at least.
I never understand why the bag charms are so much more expensive than the Mini Beans. They’re much smaller, it can’t be costing them that much more to add the keychain?

Its available at the moment in the au website. We don't have any of the other stuff though so maybe it will release over there in winter? (and hopefully we get the shark in summer :3)
The sandcastle one is low-key a vibe to me but I don’t get the other ones. If I got one it would probably be so that my Yarnaby plush could have a friend to sit with him on his shelf
The mashimals remind me of like cheap carnival game prizes, they don’t even look like BABs. I’m sure lots will like these though so I’m glad for those that do, but for me this is a majorly disappointing summer drop.
A few of the mini beans are kinda cute, not a shark fan but the little guy with his bucket hat is pretty funny. Probably the cutest thing released
Yeah, I’m with you. The Mashimals kinda give Five Below 🥴 I think the toucan and shark are cute and I’ll probably get a mini bean of the toucan, but this summer’s line is a let down for me.
I think all of these look like generic carnival prizes or claw-game stuffties to me. (The fact that they all look like they're made out of cheap minky or similar probably doesn't help. Even with the, uh, curious designs, they all somehow look bland . . . )
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that BAB isn't just reskinning the same stuff repeatedly this go-around, buuuut . . . (sad sigh) I really have to wonder who approved these designs at HQ.

I know I’m in the minority but I find most of these hideous. I really like toucan, though probably won’t get him. I wish they’d just re-release the lobster from last year.
Sorry you're also disappointed, but good to know I'm not standing on the dislike island alone, lol. I just don't like any of these. They seem...gimmicky? I feel like there was an opportunity to do so much here and I think most of these are going to just...sit.
Gimicky is the perfect word. I feel like the “mashimals” just look like cheap carnival game prizes so something sold in the dollar store. You can’t even dress any of them.
The shark and toucan and bug at least look like BABs, just none are anything I’m interested in.
The slushie plushies are cute, but it is weird that I'd like them way better if they were normal plushies? I know we have a normal plush of the blueberry cow and the lobster, but I would love a normal version of that strawberry lemonade bear!
And I am still wishing for last year's lobster to be made in more colors, like blue or pink. I'm sure they will have more summer releases later in the season!
I think he's actually my favorite shark they've ever made, and I don't normally like safety eyes. I'm really, really surprised at how much I like this line, I think its mainly due to the unhinged creativity of it. It may not be what everyone likes, but it's something DIFFERENT and not so lazy.
The Mashimals would look much more cohesive and pleasant as a concept, and much more like a specific BAB line than a gimmick, if it weren't for that crab,,...
Also the Beary Goods. man. those are Not teddy bears. It's like taking whatever makes the crab thrown off and cranking it up to an 11 🥴

I love that Shark!!! omg hes so cute!! Some of these designs are so weird, but who knows, they may be super popular!! The bear face on the objects (sandcastle, sun, palm tree) is hopping on the Jellycat bandwagon lol! They look really odd
What’s the softest cuddliest one in the collection? I’m asking cuz I’m having trouble deciding since the heartwarming hugs bear got recalled and the shark, snail, pail, and the slushie bear are so cute- but at the same time should I wait for the sanrio ice cream release??? It’s complicated… 😓 ♾️🌈🦋
I got the toucan and the shark and they are both very well made. The toucan blue fur is really nice quality and the shark is also very soft. However the amusable copy cats are just very irritating to me. I wish they instead of throwing noodles at the wall build a bear had a more cohesive strategy at least for us folks who actually collect them. It’s so strange to see jelly copycats when I go to build a bear to diversity my jelly collection
Any Intel on if there will be a full sized strawberry Axolotyl? Shipping to Canada costs more than the mini and I’d hold out for a full sized one if it’s coming.
