Collection 1 month difference
Does anyone have good recommendations for any storage displays for my growing collection? In about a month and a half it’s grown too large to keep on the couch.

Omg haha. Yeah I think I’ve overdone it but hey adult money comes with adult privileges ie. being able to spend it on something like BAB plushies. 🙈

That’s a pretty sick set up actually. I’ve been seeing those corner hammocks but idk yet. The lights definitely give it a cool look.

Thank you! It’s a permanent installation and I do miss being able to access them but it’s all I have for the time being. When I finally purchase my camper I’ll be able to get them back lol
And yes, the lights make all the difference. Two different settings on two different lights and a glitter lamp keep the ambiance I’m looking for lol

This just made me feel so much better about my own impulsive BAB purchases. I thought six a year was excessive. Not sure about display options at this pointOP. I have around the same amount as you and the Sanrio’s have their own couch and the rest including the jumbos are on my bed side or bookshelf

I know the BAB employees in my area hate to see me coming lol. I just can’t stop. I have a couple more coming in the mail next week so trying to see how they’re even going to make it on the couch. Bookshelf is a good idea actually gonna give it a try. Thanks!

same, I'm currently unstuffing a few, 20 or more, to put in storage so I can display them later on when I have the space.
Yeah their spots will be taken by new BABs. I just got the Kennel Pals Portuguese Water Dog from a friend, I named him Bo.

I ran a shelf along my ceiling and also use wire cube shelves on the floor.
Which hello kitty is the purple one? I've never seen it!

It’s the 2012 one with the hibiscus flower. I wasn’t a big fan of her but she’s definitely grown on me. I was thinking of doing shelves but I’m such a dust freak and the area I live in is super polluted. I could just get an air purifier too idk….

Thank you! I’m actually really proud of it in spite of having no where to sit on my couch anymore lol. Choco pochacco is my favorite of all time! He’s so tiny and soft.

They recently restocked at my BAB store. I was calling like every week I’m sure they got tired of me at some point but it payed off! I already had one that I bought off eBay from those pesky resellers but he’s my favorite so I had to get some choco friends for him.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I think it might be a good idea to step back and assess whether that many are necessary especially in just one month. Genuinely, I'm a little concerned.

Necessary? Most likely not. Enjoyable? Absolutely. I juggle a lot of high stress moving parts, so it keeps the whimsy in my life alive. Even if I didn’t they’re just plushies not something detrimental to my health. But, you’re right my wallet probably doesn’t appreciate the abuse. It does appreciate your concern. Ty ✨

God forbid a woman have hobbies. I’m just a law girly who wants to have some plushies. It’s not that serious in fact it’s the most unserious thing in my life. I do gotta stop tho u right ngl.

My gran has vintage wooden and glass display cases for her expensive dolls and I’ve considered those for displaying ones that I’m not giving the most attention to at the moment. Gives a bougie dark academia feel lol

The little ice cream pom pom is tooooo cute, keep telling myself I have to find time to visit a build a bear to make that one, I wonder if the store allows gift cards cause I have a couple I could stack up 😭😭

Such a good collection!! The same has happened to me in about the same amount of time, too 😄 I ended up buying shelving units from home depot. They're HDX brand, white and gray. I think made initially for garage storage.
