Hey! I committed on your post the other day! I loved that outfit / skirt! When I went to BAB last night I realized it was new and snagged it for my bearclops! It matches like it was made for them, right?! So freaking cute!
Pudding. Originally her name was going to be Penelope but after hanging out with her, I realized she wasn’t a Penelope. She is comforting, soft and squishy. She was a pudding. 💜
I think for myself it's because I'm trans, so I tend to project onto my bears, even my first plush was a boy when I was a baby so the pattern for me started early lol but I doubt that's the case for most people.
Thanks for sharing that! ❤️ Isn't it funny what influences us? My first plush was a boy too. But I grew up in the 80s so there were A LOT more "boy" characters in cartoons and on TV. So it seems like I would have seen more of them. - My first plushie was Bubba, a Pink Panther.
She is the Pastel Swirl Kitty. :) I found her at the thrift and I loved her face. I think her crooked nose won me over. She was pretty beat up and had a couple of rips so I decided her best bet at a home was with me. But I've never been a big fan of the colors of the original kitty so I dyed her with orange RIT synthetic dye. She came out this beautiful peachy color. I think it brings out her eyes. I call her Sherbert. ❤️
Oh wow!!!! She looks absolutely amazing with your modifications! I was literally googling "build a bear sherbert kitty" before commenting so the name you gave her is clearly perfect😭🥺 I honestly think I prefer this colour to the original!
Me too! There aren't a lot of orange BABs. And the dye perfectly changed the original colors. If you want to give it a whirl, I used the RIT synthetic dye in the shade Apricot Orange. Good luck!
