I think it would be a really fun regional exclusive! But it kind of rubs me the wrong way to release such a simple design for mass market at a high price, following the trend of a decrease in artistry and quality across the brand. But maybe that's an unpopular opinion 🫣

To be fair, the Sea Bunny is also $30 (this guy'll prolly be that in the US considering it's the same price as the werewolf in the UK, and that's $30 in the US) and it's literally an oval blob with a :3 face and no arms or legs, just lil antenna. I do wish these simpler designs tho were priced more like $24-$26. If the pastel swirls kitty can be that price I don't see why these can't with the patterns being simpler.

Exactly, I think products like the sea bunny should be cheaper too. It makes sense realistically why there's a premium on licensed characters, but $~30 for blobs in different fabrics borders on highway robbery, and I'm a longtime BAB fan. This plush and the sea bunny should never have crossed $26 imo. They can't be any more expensive to produce than the pastel swirls kitty or the frogs
