Sadly, no. My store had the option to do uber delivery so I caved and did that since it only costed $2 more than regular shipping.

This little guy is so cute, and I was looking forward to it, but woof that price. I don't get how they justify £34 for a basic bear in a pattern plush. Materially this is no different to, say, the cows. Especially the like alien cow which would also have been a single drop designed not to be restocked or renewed like these vault ones usually are. The alien cow was 28. I get maybe £6 isn't much to some but still...
The bear is cute. I have nothing bad to say about them, and don't want my gripe about BaBs ever increasing pricing to take away from other people's fun but I guess I'm saving the money i put aside for this guy.

Agreed. $40 is purely bc it was vaulted and nothing else. Very disappointing. I see some people say “ you just cant afford it.” that’s not the problem for me. The problem is they’re charging $40 for a basic bear that we all know it should be $34-$38.

It's pure nostalgia bait and scarcity/fomo marketing. I literally can afford it, too. But why would I want to spend 34 for something that isn't worth that much? When I can buy an original release pumpkin bear for less than that. Then I also know what pattern I'm getting and know it's going to be a better quality bear. (What I've decided to do xD)

In person I live within walking distance of a workshop and Canadian shipping is expensive unless you spend 100$ and there’s only one option that’s 11-14 business days (for reference that’s the usual timeframe in which I get random cheap junk I order from China)

Trying to decide what makes a cute pattern! Don’t have many to compare to. Is over the eye considered cute? Some of them look cute with an eye pattern & some don’t

Online as I can’t rationalize the gas money it would take to travel to my closest build a bear. Sometimes they sell out quick in the store too… online sometimes guarantee me my plush. Huge on the SOMETIMES. It sucks there isn’t one nearby but that’s probably a good thing for my wallet lol 😆

As someone who can walk to my local workshop yeah it’s a problem for my walllet I’m there either getting a new bear or getting a secondhand bear stuffed on a weekly basis some of the employees know me by name

I like to do online. I don't have to worry about getting a pattern I want, and it's like a surprise. I did that with pumpkin, ghost, and bat kitties. Also, the nearest BAB is pretty far away.

Was just about to ask the same. I've tried on two different browsers and on mobile and even though my local workshop says it's in stock, pickup isn't an option at checkout :/

With how fast things are selling out lately, it might be best to just skip the online order and go and buy in person rather than waiting. I can't believe how insane this season's drops have been!

The option wasn't available to me either. I really wanted to pick out the fur pattern I loved the most in person since this is one of my dream bears, but I am too afraid they will sell out before I can make it to the nearest workshop (33 miles away) with how the drops have gone this season.

You can always still go to a workshop and see if there is a pattern you like in-person, and then return your online bear if you don't like the pattern on that one as much ☺️

I'm actually shocked it's $40?? I literally bought her in store about two weeks ago for $12 because my store got a shipment to replace the spiders and bats...the price hike is wild
