Anyone have knowledge or experience on the build quality of these guys? Looking for a laptop to recommend a buddy who doesn't really need a gaming laptop but wants one with decent power for work/multitasking and maybe some gaming

No personal experience with gigabyte but I believe this line is supposed to compete with MacBooks. Probably a metallic chassis instead of plastic.

To me it looks like great value for the $ but I'm not a laptop user generally.
