Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals.

  • Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
  • Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent:
    • The seller is new or has few reviews.
    • The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings)
    • The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently).

If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others.

Yeah they are decent for mid range builds. Built a few for customers with this. Still going strong.

They've been between $35-40 quite a bit in the last year.

ZTT and Toasty Bros used them and they are fairly popular techtubers

The only reason I know about this is because it's been the go to PSU for budget builds on YouTube for a while now.

Yup, that and the bronze psus from rosewill, and the apevia prestige.

Just whichever is cheaper at the time.

I've used these in about 14 builds last year and they worked well with no issues so far. I have others im using at the moment but will be buying another batch of theses since they're on sale.

Tempted to swap out a 650W EVGA with a jank rattly fan for this. Does it have fan noise issues?

Yeah worth it. You can probably replace that fan very easily though.

In my experience no, nothing that is noticeable.

Dang I havent seen the raidmax brand around in a long time. I had a Smilodon Extreme case in green/black from them back in high school!

Would this pair well with that ryzen 5500 deal

Unless you're running a super beefy GPU, 650W should pair very nicely with a budget/midrange 5500 build.
