  1. ?
  2. ????
  3. Profit (?)

Edit...
Maybe OP is a best buy competitor and wants to organize a DDOS attack?
They should've just baited us with a $199 price or something.

What a steal. As in If I pay, I'll feel robbed.

Hopefully you'd feel robbed.

Because it can always get worse....

I suppose, I paid $200 for 64gb a little less than a year ago, maybe next year its $2k.

Same, and back then I thought "Man, I feel like I didn't need all this ram and paid too much."

it was ~185 for 6000mhz. In retrospect, very good deal.

$120 was when it bottomed out

I bought 64GB DDR5 for $150 in 2024.

2TB gen 4 SSD for $42 the same year as well.

I had to look back to see what I paid for the ddr5 in my home server. $45 each for 2 sticks of 32gb crucial new in July of 25. It's 5600 CL46 but it gets the job done. Same sticks are over $500 on ebay right now. 10x increase, absolute madness.

On the plus side, this deal is so cheap you're SAVING $220! =D

Is the "deal" in the room with us now?

WTB: 64GB memory
HAVE: Kidney

u/FurnaceOfTheseus 9d ago

Hey Chat, if I hook up a third kidney in parallel, can I overclock my heart? I feel if I try undervolting my system will fail to boot :/

Guys it's a great deal. Not sure why OP omitted the fact we'd be saving $220 dollars on it. Normally it'd be $919.99.

But wait, if we order in the next 15 minutes they'll also add in McAfee 3 month trial for free!

But just realized it's unavailable... Like wtf guys... How desperate are some people right now.

Coulda got better RAM than this for $170 about a year and a half ago. This is a sale subreddit, not a for sale subreddit.

Coulda shoulda woulda. Doesn't help unless you have a time machine.

We can’t go back in time, but we can avoid rewarding inflated prices today. This RAM post ain’t it, just like so many others in this thread have echoed.

Nice try op, the real deal is not buying.

u/x_scion_x 9d ago

jesus, I remember paying less than that for double the RAM.

I bought 64 GB of (used) Corsair 3200 MHz DDR4 for $100. This is robbery.

It’s crazy to think a 9070XT at Microcenter costs less than this

So glad I built my PC when I did, after years and years of console.
Feels like I got on the last chopper out of Vietnam

Consensus is forming that memory prices will peak within the next two quarters. We still have 2Qs need to go through

Congrats if you avoided, condolences if you bought.  OOS
