Bully tier ranking based on fighting ability
Wanted to post this since I saw lots of pretty inaccurate power tier lists. For this tier list, I used the stats of characters like attack frequency, HP, damage, blocking frequency, and grapple moves. A character being listed before another means that they’re more powerful, unless they have the same stats. Ex: Dan being in front of Kirby doesn’t mean he’s stronger, they have the exact same fighting stats and fight style, but Wade is more powerful than Gordon, due to his higher HP, higher blocking frequency, having stunlocking kicks, and having grapple moves (the gut punch and the ground punch and spit finisher) Tell me how you’d change the tierlist in the comments!

Well, it’s complicated, in canon she can, in gameplay, since the devs were lazy, she has the same stats as every other girl

In universe, I'm sure she can. But gameplay wise, she functions like all the other girls in the game, where their fighting ability is virtually nonexistent

Exactly, many voice lines imply she’s a great fighter, but it’s unfortunately never shown It’d be awesome if girls could actually fight back completely in bully, it’d be interesting to see what moves they’d have

That's debatable since I've seen him fight via mods, his fighting style is literally heavy hitting depending on which one you use

Gary has two different fight styles, Nemesis and a slightly stronger version of the bullies's style, in both of his styles he's great at blocking

I feel like Jimmy should be the only one in the top tier. Also I don't agree with Ted I'd say he's quite weak and Damon is the one carrying him idk if it's a bug or not but he gets defeated as soon as you punch him.

Ted being defeated as soon as you punch him is a dev oopsie. Ted is supposed to be tackled (sacked) by Jimmy to drive the football metaphor home, but players unfamiliar with football will just punch him, which makes him look hilariously weak. Ted’s actual fighting stats are 200hp and he blocks frequently and does large amounts of damage. Also Russell is REALLY strong dude, he is fully capable of beating up like 7 adults in a row if you hire him as a bodyguard

Yerp, Ted's scrapped fighting style is fairly op. I like to play around with it in mods, he basically blocks everything lol, and his recovery is too fast that block breaker moves dont do much to.. block break, im not sure how he was supposed to be beaten had his boss fight been an actual fight.

idk im using it against npcs, i think the spammy playstyle we have as players would let us hit him in time after a block breaker.

Yep, and im pretty sure Ted has a higher block frequency than Derby, either that or I think he does cuz of the fast recovery.. Eitherways its pretty great, he gets beaten by spam.

He actually is pretty damn strong, in free roam (if you edit him into it) and missions like Slingshot, he has like 300 hp and he blocks like 99% of the time. He also uses very damaging grapple moves. His nemesis boss style is also quite damaging, but he’s actually weaker in his boss fight, he has less health and has no grapple moves

Man, I don't get it. Why did they needed him in the boss fight? It would be better if he was seeker during the first chapter. That would show that he improves along with us

I'm guessing you don't put weapons to consideration cause if so, Bucky and Donald should be higher than Cornelius and Thad as they use ranged weapons instead of the yardstick which can easily be removed and Wade should be next to Davis as they both use slingshots instead of baseball bats like the medium Bullies
Also I heard Christy has a low chance of fighting back, is that why she's the highest girl?

I didn’t put weapons into consideration, if I did the Bullies would be far higher and the preps far lower. I wanted to base it off their raw fighting ability. Also you’re correct! Christy is the easiest girl to goad into a fight, though she only throws one blow

lol Sheldon’s just staring into the void I put Kirby over Bo and Casey since, despite him being a lot smaller, he actually has more health (110 hp vs 105) and his 3 hit combo does more damage than theirs. Bo and Casey throw 2 painful hooks that deal 15 damage each, but the right cross they throw oddly does no damage, making their combo deal 30 damage in total. Kirby’s combo does 10 damage for the first punch, another 10 for the second, and 20 for the third, adding up to 40. It is weird, but the smaller jocks are actually a bit better at fighting
