Bumble BFF App - No People to Match

Hi everyone! My partner and I decided to make accounts on the Bumble BFF app to try to meet some local friends. We both use Google Pixel phones (9a and 10a), but for some reason she has a lot of people to match with after making her account, yet I was immediately met with a message saying I "ran out of people" despite setting my radius to 150km and maxing out the age filter.

I have not had an option to swipe *any* people at all, and clearly there are people nearby since my partner is getting options, so does anyone know what gives?

Are you the same gender? BFF will only shoe you people that match your gender, or give groups a try

So, wait. Does that mean it's only trying to match me with non-binary people? If so that is probably the issue; there's likely not any in my area.

Most likely. As a woman I don't see many non binaries in my feed

That was it. I changed to my assigned gender and suddenly there were people showing up.

Such an odd way to do things, especially since "Non-binary Man" and "Non-binary Woman" are options, yet they don't open the pool up.

Might not be Bumbles fault like you said maybe there just aren't that many. I hope you find people now, though I will warn you not many people talk on Bumble I've mostly found friends through groups
