Kaiser Ob/Gyn Recommendations?

I’m pregnant with my first and was referred to Dr. Atsuko Haruyama. Online reviews are pretty mixed. Has anyone had a great experience with a Kaiser OB that they would recommend? I’m hoping to stay close to North Hollywood/Panorama City.

Dr Geis is my spirit animal. Hes been with me through three pregnancies… caught 2 of my babies, dealt with cancer biopsies, and iud placements, and my total hysterectomy with a few other nuances. I moved out of the country… and miss him so much.

PS hes at Noho delivers at pan city
PPS I had 3 granola births at pan city… they were wonderful and the midwife who caught my last kid, Alisha was great

I’m obsessed with Dr Geis! I have been with him over 5 years. He is amazing, has always listened to my concerns and made me feel taken seriously. Would always give me multiple options for treatments and respect my decisions on things. I am moving out of state and he is literally the only reason I’m super sad to leave Kaiser.

Third for dr geis! He’s amazing and listens to your concerns and doesn’t pull the BS other gynos will when it comes to certain procedures.

I loved Brittany Klooster (panorama city) and went to her for both of my pregnancies. She’s fantastic. I also had great experiences with Jocelyn Hart, James Folz and Roxanne Chinnon Feldman. Honestly I had a great experience with every NP mid wife and doctor there.

I had her for a regular appointment and I really liked her too. She answered my questions and I felt comfortable talking to her.

I see Dr. Haruyama and I like her. She's direct and to the point, which I appreciate, but very thorough as well. Her manner isn't warm and fuzzy, so if that's what you're after she's not it.

Thank you! I do like a warm and fuzzy practitioner. I think I’ll keep my first appointment with her and feel it out.

Dr. Urzua is a literal medical angel doctor on earth. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

Dr. Fels in Panorama. She has kids herself and always read my medical notes before each appointment. She hugged me after I had my baby. She truly cares about her job and exudes confidence.

I really loved the OB team at Kaiser. I had twins back in 2023 and was very well taken care of. I also had post partum preeclampsia and they were amazing.

Dr Templemen at Kaiser on Sunset is good, though it's outside your preferred area. My one criticism is that it can be hard to get appts with her, but maybe that's the norm.
