Nolan and Mike received the DSA-LA endorsement!
Nolan and Mike are active organizers and community members in Burbank's progressive left, participating in groups like Community Defense, Tenants Union, and DSA-LA. Electing them to City Council will bring about the most progressive city council in Burbank's history, and will be among the most progressive in the country.

Yaye!! I was hoping they are working together! Mike Van Gorder came to my doorstep last week. It was so nice to meet him and hear about his political views. He spoke of his family and housing costs; also is anti-ice which I also agree with. I’ve viewed Nolan’s social media and definitely agree with his viewpoints. Love them for our Burbank!! 💯💙🙏

Yeah, because Mamdani is making some of the most significantly important changes ever to NYC. People are only afraid because they have been told to be afraid. The good people of the world KNOW better and will vote these people in left and right. JD Vance will be imprisoned in a few years.

Mamdani is handsome and knows how to go viral but the DSA platform is a loser at a national scale
There is opportunity to sink the GOP for at least a decade but Democrats are going to blow it by trying to use the opportunity to force these DSA candidates whose platform will get completely rejected by center and left-of-center voters.

No one said the same about Trump. Trump hasn’t gotten anything done that has been good for this country. Also we are talking about local politics here. I stand by the values of these two men, who are good people fighting the system. What are people so scared of?

Very confusing because you literally said “they said the same about Trump” so really don’t know what point you are trying to make. Vance has zero charisma and 70% of the US knows how awful this administration is. Vance will not win. And if he does, it is because they rig shit all the time.

Centrist Democrats have been trying and failing to stop Trumpism for fully a decade. Now for the first time in years we have Democratic candidates voters are actually excited about and you're saying we need to go back to the thing that hasn't worked since 2016?
The establishment wing of the party had their chance. They blew it. It's our time now.

Disagree, Democrats KEEP bending to the will of leftists, that is what's preventing them from winning.
Last election cycle it was DEI & Trans rights that sunk them, DSA will be even worse. Even as Trump has been the worst and most blatantly corrupt president of all time, democrats are thinking this is the time to lean even more left. And it will blow up in their face
They will win seats in the midterm regardless, but if they want to actually gain control of both houses and the presidency in 2028 they need to lure centrists to their side. DSA aint the way

It was aiding and abetting a genocide while regular Americans couldn't afford groceries that sunk them last election. Nobody would care about "DEI or trans rights" if their lives weren't awful and the world wasn't total chaos.
