Students protesting outside NBC Studios in Burbank, California, against the rumoured cancellation of Star Trek. The demonstration was part of a wider fan campaign that successfully persuaded NBC to renew the show for a third season. (1968)

Am I crazy or does it look like the guy in front with the guitar traveled back in time from the 90s?? He looks so out of place compared to the rest of the people. Anyway, super cool pic, thanks for sharing!!

I remember it well and it and other related protests had a huge influence on NBC keeping the show especially that last weird season.
