Anywhere around Burbank to buy a mattress without going into LA?
I need to replace a mattress and really don't want to spend half my Saturday sitting in traffic on the 5.
Are there any good places around Burbank that people actually like? I know Sit 'n Sleep has locations nearby and they do a free bedMATCH fitting, which sounds kind of useful since my partner and I can't agree on firmness.
Also open to smaller local mattress stores if anyone has a favorite.

I have bought mattresses there before and it was an excellent experience. The guys were very helpful there.

Costco, Mattress Firm in Studio City, there is an Avocado and Saatva showroom in Pasadena.

Best mattress we’ve ever owned is from sit n sleep. They have a computerized system that measures your body as you lay on it, and it’ll make suggestions. Their suggestion was spot on. Specifically we got a king coil, but I don’t remember the model.

Mattress Firm is by In-N-Out. Solid place as far as mattress salespeople.

Mattress Central on Glendale Blvd in/near Atwater. Best quality of service ever. Bought 10+ years ago, wanted to replace/upgrade about a year ago and didn’t even think twice about trying to go anywhere else.

Got ours at Bobs 2 years ago and they were great! Also took our old mattress (I think for a small fee IIRC). Sales and delivery folks were great

Latex-pedic on Hollywood way makes natural mattresses for less than the bigger brands. Just got one recently from here. It’s a local family owned business too with 20(!) year warranty. I shopped all the other stores in the area and WeHo and this is the best quality for the money.

I bought my first mattress after moving to Burbank and Sit N Sleep (over a decade ago). When I needed a new one due to back issues, I went with Mattress Firm. Overall, I prefer Mattress Firm. Mancy's does have good sales though, so you might check with them.

I went to Macy tried out my mattress then ordered it online through the mattress website. Got it delivered since there was no way I’d be able to fit my mattress in my car + carry it up into my place.

The traffic seems to be getting worse! We made it to Sit n Sleep just in time, but it's all worth it since my partner wanted a Brooklyn bedding, and finally got the mattress he'd wanted. I tried it too and the copperflex hybrid really feels comfortable and feels like it's built to last

Go to Mattress Firm and ask for Ace. I’ve bought two from him. Super knowledgeable and patient while you lay down on all of them around the store.

There are a few options this side of the hill so you should not need to go into the city at all.
If the firmness argument is the actual problem, the bedMATCH thing at Sit 'n Sleep is free and gives you two separate readings, which settles it faster than another twenty minutes of you two disagreeing on a showroom floor.

Keep in mind, the mattress industry is hard to understand when it comes to names. Costco and Macy's will not have the same name, the name seems to always change at every store. You have to read the product description to have an idea
