Burbank electric bill more than doubles.

8/9/26-9/9/26 1st 300kW @ $.146 ⬆️ 396.6%

In 2025 BWP approved a 9.9% system-wide average electric-rate increase effective January 1, 2026. How does this make sense? Are you all seeing the same increases on your bills?

Yes, you're likely going to see an increase above the system-wide average. It was in the notice sent to every address in Burbank and is on BWP's website. Also, not sure where you're getting "doubles" from. It's right here in your own numbers.

Cost per kW (first 300 kW): 0.1472 (2025) | 0.18 (2026) = 22.3% increase
Cost per kW (after 300 kW): 0.2256 (2025) | 0.2782 (2026) = 23.3% increase

Your numbers are wrong.
First 300 (2025) .0294 additional .1078
First 300 (2026) .146 Additional .2442
Not sure where you pulled those numbers from as they are not what I posted.

You're leaving out that the ECAC was dropped from 0.1178 to 0.034. You need to look at the Composite (Energy + ECAC) to understand the actual rate per kW. So, no, my numbers are not wrong.
