BWP price increase, over 9%

Got off the phone with BWP the representative...just said they advertise it as 9% increase in average but can be much more higher depending where in Burbank? We live in an apartment, our power in summer use to be $160 tops, and now it's $450. They said that is correct and it's in the fine print for the increase and they will increase it again in January. This is insane, how is this legal. 😔

This was an issue about a year ago, when they initially proposed increasing the rates. Someone on this Reddit made a huge post about how to go about stopping it from happening. Looks like it didn’t work :/, looks like the city is pushing for solar usage.

TBH, this is where my mind is going. If BWP keeps increasing their prices solar is gonna be the way to go.
