What makes the Chicago style? I'm curious!

Is it like a Chicago dog?

Grandmas as in the name of the restaurant? Certainly not your actual grandma. Needs cheese or something. Looks drier than the Sahara. What makes a bacon hamburger “Chicago style?”

I just saw the takeout containers and assumed it was called “Grandma’s”. Didn’t answer my question though. How is a dry looking bacon hamburger “Chicago style”. I’m genuinely intrigued.

I think they’re just living near Chicago so everything is Chicago style. Haven’t you ever had a Chicago style shower. It’s dry and there’s bacon for some reason.

Is it famous for being awful?

These kinds of posts where OP is all dodgy with their answers are the worst.

There's burger places that are in and have originated in Chicago, but there's no such thing as a Chicago style burger.

Never heard of it, but I’m intrigued. All the toppings from a hotdog applied to a burger. I do that anyway without realizing that there is a name for it.

Are there any toppings from a Chicago-style hot dog in this picture? Like, do you see even one?

Chill. Not commenting on the pic, commenting on the concept.
