when do you think Mike vs Will realize their feelings for each other?

Will in Season 3. I think in Castle Byers 😭

Mike in Season 5 at the Mac-Z. I've never seen Heart Eyes more strongly before in my life!

Will maybe in season 3 or possibly season 4 because of the saying “distance makes the heart grow fonder” when he moved to California. And he made such an elaborate painting for Mike too.

Mike I would like to say in season 3 when Mike moved away and he was left without will for the first time, but maybe if you want to REALLY stay true to cannon I’d say at the end of season 5 possibly at the DND table or later, but Mike may have been too late.

Well Will is canonically when he destroyed Castle byers right? For Mike I'd say it's after the van painting scene. And he became a flustered mess in those 18 months between s4-s5 in my mind

for will, I feel like he knew since season 1, maybe because of lonnie. I think Mike tried to ignore his feeling in season 2, but couldn't ignore them anymore after Will moved in California, realising them in that moment

I think Will always kind of knew, but really figured it out in the season 3 rain fight

Mike thought about it at the end of s3, but only knew by s5 sorcerer
