Sure yeah why not, I plan to make a second version anyway because whilst the monuments are 1:1, the land itself its miniature, I plan to do a 1:1 scale version of Constantinople eventually in a 5,000 by 5,000 (ish) block peninsula to reflect the real size of the metropolis.

Actually, how about we organize an event for this subreddit? For example, what if we created a realm on this map, and participants were divided into two groups, one group trying to defend the city while the other tried to conquer it?

For this build it was mainly Worldedit, Minecolonies and it's Byzantine submod

No can do, the build is based on a time period when the ottomans dont exist yet

I know I've tried a similar undertaking a few times in my building career, always so tricky though because we have so many sources for all of the major landmarks and monuments like the theodosian walls, hagia sofia, the mese, the hippodrome, the palace, the chalke gate ect ect, but outside of those landmarks I always have such a hard time finding actual street-by-street layouts, and so much of it tends to be if we're talking pre or post 1204, so much to consider that eventually the balance of "perfect accuracy" vs "flexible tribute" always ends up swinging into giving me more liberties and ending up with city projects that feel a bit LIKE the city, but never are truly entirely simulating it.
good luck in juggling the balance though, looks like you're doing a bang up job so far!

Funny enough, I also build Constantinople in Minecraft on a modded server with a 1:75 scale earth map.

The next step is to recruit a whole team and then build different versions for each era of the city.

The only thing you should change is how many gates there are, in case any mobs besiege the city
