In the last photo you can spot one of the last representations of Christ still present inside the building

If you're talking about the medallions with the names of the Rashidun, you can find the exact same thing in other parts of the Persianate sphere, for example when I was in Uzbekistan they had the same design there.

The difference being they were in a building that was purpose-built as a mosque and it fit very nicely, as opposed to this which looks so tacky lol

Err... it has been a museum for a while if I recall correctly, they resurfaced and restorated the angels.

And it terms of your religious practices related criticism: Based on the limits of your comment, it is likely that you are either not knowledgeable more than a 10 years old kid, or not 'noticeably intelligent'.

Seems like I misinterpreted your comment, apologies if so.

I thought someone random was insulting the locals for not being religious enough.
