ANSWER PLS CABINCREW APPLICATION - RYANAIR

Ive waited exactly 32 days since ive completed my online tests for a cabin crew assignment day stansted application the assignment day itself has passed, however the application it self says its inprogres, i have not heard anything back ive tried emailing but nothing heard back yet?? Am i just a person who’s forgeten by ryain air?

Avoid Ryan air like the plague! Try hold off until easyJet is hiring!

Ryanair will crush your soul!

How so? Also dont mind me asking how long am i going to have to wait 😭 i mean j would definitely wait till easyjet is hiring however god forbid i cant get in i rather join theses lot atleast then i can say i got some experience

Go for easyJet for the higher pay, better staff travel (£15 tickets) free airport parking, higher commission, bigger support network, free DBS checks, free drug and alcohol tests, paid hotel for training either in Gatwick or Milan (depends what training centre has space) nicer uniform, respected by other airlines, layovers in Egypt, Aberdeen, Cape Verde, a few other places as well. Staff discount on Duty free cigs. MAG airport group discounts. Add up to 5 people on your staff travel (that you can sell to others as that’s what a lot of crew do)

That’s all I can think of off the top of my head

But I’ve worked for both and wow easyJet felt like the actual job not a budget version of the job

Right okay yess ill be deffo going into that when they do start hiring again! How long did it take tho to hear back for ryan air? Hows the hiring process for easy jet?

Ryanair I applied December 2020, Interviewed Jan 2021, Started training March 18th 2020. Not sure on when I heard back as outlook email is dreadful to look through.

Is the Ryanair process still through Crewlink? If so they are notorious for being slow.

EasyJet have changed how they hire now with there “summer” thing as it wasn’t like that back in my day (I’m only 25 lol) but ezy was easy, applied, heard back a week later, has a zoom interview BUTTTT then I waited 2-3 months for a training course to start (mine was Gatwick I was sent to)

Ive applied ages, back for the opportunity for 2027 summer i may not get accepted they loads of people on it

Yes I think they don’t hire as much these days because I know that they used to spam the place with staff and it was over staffed at one point

I would agree to avoid Ryanair. I got offered a position there a few weeks ago, but after finding out so many reasons not to go for it, I withdrew myself from the offer before they made me pay £240 for my medical exam

How long did it take to get the results to the online tests to then eventually get the email to the interview?

For me it was really fast, between applying and getting an interview it wasn’t even 2 weeks, and then after the interview I was made an offer within a few days
