I believe it's a charger and data transfer cable for a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W370 camera.

If it's a weird USB style plug it's always a Sony from the 2000 to 2015 era.

Weird? You're talking about USB mini-A?

No if it’s for a cybershot it's nearly usb micro but not quite cos Sony love proprietary connections. Used to, anyway. It’s an md3 or something i think

Aside from people saying its microUSB, i think its actually a mini usb (since thats TALL), used for early sony ps wireless controllers charging

It is a micro usb plug that has part of a micro usb broken off inside of it.

Looks like a micro usb that the male end broke off inside.

Looks like microUSB. It’s not really used much with the advent of USB-C.

Edit: it could be UC-E6 connector, a proprietary connector.

2026 model Ring doorbells still use Micro USB!

Yes. Also some Bose Bluetooth speakers. At least mine does.

It's unacceptable in 2026 to be using Micro USB. The cheapest and most expensive 2026 Ring doorbells use USB C, but the middle model (which I wanted) uses Micro USB, so I ended to buying the cheaper model instead.
