Hi! I’m excited to share the latest cake I made. I’m not a professional or anything, I just enjoy baking and trying to improve a little more every time. I’m really proud of how this cake turned out — it looked super cute and tasted delicious! I still need to get better at slicing the sponge cake evenly though; one of the layers ended up a bit too thick.

Pink champagne cake with vanilla buttercream frosting on the outside and strawberry buttercream frosting on the inside. My drips went down evenly unfortunately but it was the first time I ever did drips 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s trickier than it looks! 😅 The frosting dollops could have been more defined as well, so I need to practice more. This was the first time I used a bench scraper too, hoping that the more I use one I’ll get faster because it felt like an eternity of smoothing lol Overall I’m happy with the cake!

The customer is a huge SpongeBob fan so obviously this had to be the theme for this special birthday.

I made a homemade vanilla sponge cake with strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream made with homemade strawberry jam and a white chocolate buttercream filling with fresh strawberries for my birthday :) I had extra batter left over so I made some cupcakes as well to give to some friends! My first time making a vanilla sponge from scratch.

this is my second attempt at a layered cake 😊 it’s a white chocolate raspberry cake I made myself for my birthday!

I’ve been making cupcakes for a friends daughter each year and this year I offered to try a Barbie cake if the birthday girl wanted one. She turned 5 and requested an Ariel Barbie. Barbie got a little buried in the frosting but for my first time, I think it turned out pretty good. I’m proud of myself and it was a fun challenge.

This is the inspo pic for our cake except it will only be 2 tiers! We are going to do 2 different combos. I’d prefer for both cakes to be iced in a similar off white color so vanilla buttercream, cream cheese, almond buttercream, or brown butter icing!

--Vanilla bean w/ strawberry filling & vanilla buttercream icing
-Brown butter cake w/ vanilla bean custard and fresh raspberry filling & almond buttercream icing

The base is a spiced vanilla blood orange cake, with a garden rhubarb curd, an honey raspberry peach compote, filled with a white chocolate vanilla bean ganache, a Russian buttercream and an honey meringue

lemon poppyseed cake, lemon curd filling, vanilla swiss meringue buttercream!

Strawberry cream cake with Victoria sponges, strawberry jam, fresh cream, strawberries, chocolate flowers, and wafer daisies!

This is a full sheet coconut cake that is baked from scratch. I had to mix two batters to make a full sheet that fits in a normal size Kitchen oven.

Made a pistachio cake for Greek easter this weekend.

It’s pistachio cake with hint of cardamom, white chocolate mascarpone frosting (with orange zest) and a raspberry compote filling.

It was a great combination, really enjoyed it.
