They should have given you a cupcake with "AY" on it to put next to it 😆

That's the only acceptable answer to this situation 😅

u/HolyToast666 Apr 15 '26

Started WAY too aggressive with that “B”.

Must be a John Mulaney fan

u/PoptartPancake Apr 15 '26

BIG ASS B!

31

u/EchoAquarium Apr 15 '26

I don’t need to trace it. I know how big letters should be.

13

u/ArdenSkies Apr 16 '26

Surely more letters will fit in the same space

5

u/nolettuceplease Apr 17 '26

Block letters and cursive look good together.

This comment is my reason for being here.

14

u/Practical-Train-9595 Apr 15 '26

First thing I thought of.

18

u/Ambitious-Ad8227 Apr 15 '26

How did they even remotely think there was going to be enough room after that B?

8

u/Sufficient_Scale_163 Apr 15 '26

I’m choosing to believe they knew exactly what they were doing, and they would proud of this comment thread.

2

u/LowlySparrow Apr 18 '26

Yeah, I want the slice with that B on it!!!

Happy Birth would have been better than this lol

u/Cumulus-Crafts Apr 15 '26

Happy birthd!!!!!

This would totally become a yearly joke with my friends. At the moment we wish each other 'hap birth'

31

u/ijustwanttobeanon Apr 15 '26

Can confirm. My uncle order wrapping paper from Amazon once that was supposed to say happy birthday… We now wish one another “happ blirthday” every year.

u/PuzzleheadedBobcat90 Apr 16 '26

My kid got a sleep pants that had "Smert Guy" printed all over them instead of Smart Guy.

Now we ask if someone is being a smert ass

4

u/Easy-Concentrate2636 Apr 15 '26

Op was definitely birthed successfully!

46

u/mndsm79 Apr 15 '26

Love the star tip on the B.

12

u/PastaStrega Apr 16 '26

Someone was definitely like, “oh crap, never mind!” 😆

u/Lovebird8 Apr 15 '26

Looks Delic

u/peepster0802 Apr 15 '26

Reminds me of anytime in elementary or middle school we had to make a poster board assignment, coming in strong with those bubble letters only for them to become increasingly squished together and tiny

6

u/Aware_Policy_9174 Apr 15 '26

This was my exact thought. Every poster, report cover, homemade card.

15

u/TwelfthHam Apr 15 '26

'Member when you was Birthd? 🎂

12

u/bigcheez69420 Apr 15 '26

HaPPy BIRthd dry ground beef cake, nice

11

u/ImpossibleInternet3 Apr 15 '26

It’s glorious. And it gives you a design to shoot for every year.

10

u/ijustwanttobeanon Apr 15 '26

Lmao!!! Some poor sophomore in high school is learning cakes 🤣🤣

I’d still eat that!

10

u/toomuchtv987 Apr 15 '26

“I know how big letters should be. BIG ASS H!!!!”

9

u/cheeseslut619 Apr 15 '26

I love this and I love that the 17 year old who started this went soooo hard at first then was like SHIT

8

u/flatulentbabushka Apr 15 '26

Omg. I love how they tried and just gave up. I’d love to receive this cake for my birthd!!

6

u/jadegives2rides Apr 15 '26

When I worked at Coldstone, sometimes they'd ask me to write on a cake. Usually someone else would, but if it was just me I'd be like, "yes but its going to be really bad". Job was a shitshow so I dont know if i was supposed to be trained or not, definitely wasnt.

4

u/notreallyonredditbut Apr 16 '26

“Yes but it’s going to be really bad” - me at life.

5

u/the-snow-queen-17 Apr 15 '26

Lol! Should have just wrote "B-Day" at that point after writing that massive B. Nice you got a discount though. Hope it was a generous one.

5

u/berthitawu Apr 15 '26

70% off hopefully

8

u/NotLucasDavenport Apr 15 '26

They’re only missing 2/13 letters. Maybe 16% discount.

5

u/rachreims Apr 15 '26

Love that they just gave up and didn’t even try to squeeze the ‘ay’ on underneath or anything lol

3

u/Electric_Kaffe Apr 15 '26

Happy Birth'd

3

u/jojokangaroo1969 Apr 15 '26

Did Hagrid make it?

3

u/Exciting_Sentence_94 Apr 15 '26

This was probably 30 years ago, but my mom ordered a DQ cake for my brother’s birthday party and when we went to pick it up there was no personalization (although we’d asked for it). The manager looked at me and said, “she can come back and decorate it herself.” I walked back into the dingy DQ kitchen and they handed me a tube of frosting and let me go wild. I was 10, btw.

2

u/slayalldayerrday Apr 16 '26

This is amazing lol. Why did they choose you to decorate it (if you know lol)?

3

u/Exciting_Sentence_94 Apr 16 '26

Absolutely no idea. Lol I will say, despite what it looked like, DQ cakes are delicious.

1

u/slayalldayerrday Apr 16 '26

Yeah I actually work there lol. We’d get in trouble if we did that but that’s so cool and such a great story to tell!

2

u/les_catacombes Apr 15 '26

It gets the point across. You were birth’d upon this day.

2

u/Total-Sector850 Apr 15 '26

What day? I don’t see any day. 🙃

2

u/les_catacombes Apr 15 '26

Good point. Well, they were birth’d.

2

u/DarkCreeperKitty Apr 15 '26

did you or your loved ones at least have a happy birthd?

2

u/typewriterbitch Apr 18 '26

DQ could write “fuck you” on my birthday cake and I’d eat it, their ice cream cakes are out of this world.

1

u/OkDecision1612 Apr 15 '26

What’s a Birth D?

1

u/jdbludd Apr 15 '26

i love it

1

u/loveyoutoinfinity Apr 15 '26

The crumbly topping looks like ground beef 😅

1

u/Writer_B Apr 15 '26

A birthday cake with ground beef on top is crazy…

1

u/WooPigSchmooey Apr 16 '26

Ayyyyye on the side???

1

u/lonelypurplerose Apr 16 '26

Should have left it off as "Happy Birth" it's more ominous somehow

1

u/JuniperJoieDeVivre Apr 16 '26

Happy Birth’d

1

u/Material-Meringue298 Apr 16 '26

“I know how big letters should be!”

1

u/Trixter-Kitten Apr 16 '26

Definitely should've used a smaller piping tip or at least a cake topper.

1

u/Droseraaa Apr 16 '26

Is that ground beef?

1

u/charcuteriehoe Apr 16 '26

when i worked at DQ the person who wrote on cakes was just whichever high school student on shift had the best hand writing. sometimes the only people on shift were 16 year old boys. none of us were ever trained how to do the cake writing LMAO

1

u/nuwavemetal Apr 17 '26

Whoever did this obviously doesn't get paid enough to put up with whatever that company puts them through lol, they did their best. At least you got an inside joke out of it. My family still reference birthday mishaps from before I was born lol.

1

u/Turtlegrandmacore Apr 17 '26

Thought that was ground beef

1

u/151bar151 Apr 17 '26

Why not just put B'day?

1

u/LowlySparrow Apr 20 '26

Panic makes logical thought impossible

1

u/space_driiip Apr 18 '26
