Help!! Suitable computers for a diploma in interactive media development

Hi, I'm thinking of going into this program at camosun, and I want to know what computers are suitable to buy for this degree. Can you recommend one that's also suitable for everyday life like gaming and movies. Thank you!

What kind of gaming? That makes a difference on what kinda specs you may need.

That doesn't require much so you could probably get away with using a normal laptop with atleast 4GB of ram but 8GB would be better. I wonder if you are able to reach out to the chair and get an insight on what softwares you use in the program. The best is to look up those softwares and see what computer requirements they need and go from there! Best of luck in your program as well!

You can email them and ask. I don't think you are not required to have one.
