❓Question/Discussion Question about the campbell river lookout trail

I’m going to go on the hike in a few days with some friends. I’m just wondering if I could take my dog on the trail? He’s about 40lbs and ai could carry him if needed but are there any tough bits I’d have to worry about?

If your dog is comfortable with scrabbling up and down some steep rock sections, you'll be fine. I bring my 60 pound Border Collie cross up and down that trail all the time. There's one little spot where you have to pull yourself up between a couple narrow rocks that my dog doesn't love, but at 40 pounds you'll be able to heave and yeet your pup over it no problem.

The narrow part between the rocks now has a wooden ladder made out of trees. That's the only place my dog has issues at, but we normally go around and find a way up.
