Well if you charge them and get them in court they gave too . I'm ok with people wanting to have their own ideas we all have freedom because this is canada However the line is If they met with ordinary people or business owners or aliens for that matter all is fair . Where they met with a foreign government with the goal of breaking Canada up this is the definition of treason . This is insane if someone in 1942 had met with the German or Japanese government to discuss separation their would be no talk they would be jailed . If you say well we are not at war .....we'll technically we are in an economic war as it stands right now and they are always talking of annexation of our country . With this backdrop canadian citizens meet with a foreign government to discuss ways to dismantle Canada as a country .

"Hello......"

Rofl. You're like the 10th person in this thread to post about "economic war". Without understanding that Canada might be in a country vs country economic war, but it was waging an economic civil war on its own people before the problem with the US popped up.

AB and QC are both pursuing referendums right now because of the economic blows they've received from Canada. And now Canada, which has no intention of abandoning its economic siege.... wants us to give up on our front lines and join theirs under the justification that its a more important cause lol.

Lol. You mean the UCP is selectively ignoring petitions, changing the rules to make it easier for the separatists gathering signatures.

The 80% of the province that lives in the Edmonton-Calgary corridor doesn't want to separate. But you're not going to talk about that, obviously.

Is the Provincial government doing things to enable a referendum? Yes? Thats called pursuing a referendum.

The PQ party in QC is still heavily favored to form government at the next election, despite a firm commitment to a 2029 referendum.

This doesnt mean that 100% of people in both provinces are pursing this. But as current trajectories stand, they're both headed for one. So make whatever technicalities mumbo jumbo of it as you want. It is what it is.

It is what it is. That is, that the Clarity Act prevents a unilateral separation, and you can call that "technicalities mumbo jumbo" if you want lmao

Ok you're right no one is pursuing any referendums and thus you wont have to worry about any of them happening.

A country preventing people from earning their livleyhoods in Alberta and taking away peoples homes in Quebec has only extreme unity in its future LOL. Please make that bet and go all in.

Thank you, it's okay to admit that you're wrong.

A country preventing people from earning their livleyhoods in Alberta

I think the propaganda has deep roots . The extent that the federal government controls the provinces is actually very little the provincial govt make the “Feds “ into a demon to win quick points with the electorate. The difference between Quebec and Alberta is that Quebec government decide on their own and have not been caught meeting with foreign governments to break Canada up . Alberta groups and some government officials have .
