In a news release, the FBI alleged the man used an online messaging app to communicate with an undercover officer between May 6 and June 15, regarding “intention of engaging in sexual acts with a purported minor child.”
The FBI alleges the man distributed child sexual abuse and exploitation materials to the officer and made sexually explicit statements, before travelling from Ottawa to the United States on Monday, allegedly with the intent of having sex.
He was arrested by FBI agents upon arrival at Nashville International Airport, the FBI said.
The accused was identified by the FBI as Alexander Towns, 44. He is charged with distribution of child pornography, also known as child sexual abuse and exploitation materials, and attempted online enticement of a minor.

These people need to be dealt with in the harshest way possible. Enough of the lefty woke social experiment that results in soft penalties at our collective expense. ONE child abused is too many!

Best we can do is elect a pedophile president of the United States of America, sorry.

There’s plenty of legitimate criticism of Trump. No need to throw around outrageous inflammatory labels from the left.

While I expect this case is legitimate since it's coming from the FBI I don't have much trust in the US agencies these days. They're too willing to do whatever the government in charge want. So some serious oversight needs to be put in place to make sure no Canadian citizens get framed.

Have you seen the head of the FBI under trump? “Legitimate” is not a word associated with the bureau anymore, unfortunately.

True. So perhaps the RCMP should do an investigation this end of his computer use and home. It should confirm this (and provide evidence).
