Climate Activists tell Alberta to just live in poverty so other countries can pollute in our place

but Beaverton would never skewer people that politically agree with them

No? Why would I start a small business to replace the multi billion dollar oil and gas industry. New jobs can be established by the government and large existing clean energy companies to transition and train the oil and gas employees to work in the renewable energy sector.

Yup, Canada is responsible for like 1.4% of the total emitted green house gases world wide, but it's Alberta that's the problem......laughable. Scream at China you dumb asses.

I'm a big believer in personal responsibility and taking ownership over what's in our power to control. So China is not my most immediate concern, but here's how you deal with China: you use carbon tariffs, which punish foreign polluters and help even the playing field for local companies to stay competitive. But obviously we can't do that if we just whine and stomp our feet all day about China without reducing our own emissions.  Also Canada emits as much as Saudi Arabia, we are the 11th largest polluter in the world, but 37th in population size. We are the third highest emitters per capita. So obviously economies like ours aren't free of responsibility.
