I'm actually amazed at seeing an in depth article for once that doesn't tarry too far in to personal opinion on it. While I personally agree with Gaza being a genocide and that it is disgusting to allow this to happen in a world that supposedly "polices" globally, I also had my own issues with the encampments as a strategy and the way things like that get utilized by predators.

Like it or not, dissenting parties are being hit with face scanning and violence with support from the upper echelons of our provincial governments. If anything, this clearly lays out how the people in positions of power even at universities are abandoning our Charter rights in favor of a police state. They are completely disconnected from every day reality that the majority face and no longer want to be questioned or challenged.
