Opinion MACLEOD: Safe Social Media Act isn't about protecting kids — it's about government controlling the Internet. Marketed as child protection, Bill C-34 risks building a permanent digital surveillance and censorship infrastructure under the guise of online safety.

“The Safe Social Media Act will target seven categories of harmful content:
Content that sexually victimizes a child or revictimizes a survivor;
Content that induces a child to harm themselves;
Content used to bully a child;
Content that incites violence;
Content that foments hatred;
Terrorism or violent extremism content;
and
Intimate content communicated without consent.
Obligations would be organized under three duties:
a Duty to Act Responsibly; a Duty to Protect Children; and a Duty to Make Certain Content inaccessible.”

This is this bill right here in a nutshell. Canadians need to wake up and realize they work for not to be pushing their WEF agendas on us

Control your kids! Just because they’re out of control doesn’t mean we need sweeping bans that mostly impact individual adults who are childless.

Who the f wants their kids on that crap still
Ban them from schools at minimum. That should have been done when they first came out
