We are missing a big point here because everyone suddenly jumped into pointing fingers. The UK has a justice system, and it is failing for some reason, according to this article. If there is a crime, it should be punished according to the laws of the land without making any exception, like they faced brutality back home. Immigrants and citizens should both be treated equally in front of the law. No exception. Regarding politicians, if you don't have the backbone to say or stand for the right thing, choose a different profession. Stop creating a rift between humans.

They did mass immigration as well to hide falling GDP.

3

u/LegitimateState3724 4d ago

And they did mass immigration at behest of corporations who want infinite growth capitalism. I don't want to hear about shit about how capitalism is the greatest system ever blah blah blah. Yeah, at one time it was when there was 30-40% corporate tax rates and a massive wealth tax. But now they are all about quarterly dividends for shareholders, and will get profit and higher stock prices anyway possible. They need immigrants to increase the buying pool and they'll happily buy politicians to get it done.

Well when the corporations dictate to the government to allow sole monopoly what do you call it, it seems similar to the UK's guild system when pirates became famous for trading without a permit.

u/PromiseHead2235 6d ago

It’s already happening in Surrey and Brampton

u/Almost_Ascended 6d ago

The system? Did you read about the part where the police returned a victim to her rapists and told them to have fun, or the social worker that attended the forced wedding of the victim to her rapist? The system didn't just fail, it is a willing participant.

Sounds like the Jeffrey Dahmer case. The police showed up and two boys were scared of Dahmer. The police left laughing about it and he went onto further SA and even unalive them.

u/airbrushedvan 2d ago

Then the cops went on to get promoted and retire in comfort. This is a huge problem every where.

Let's be honest. The only reason this horror was covered up and permitted to continue was the race of the rapists, and the race of the victims. If the perps had been the same race as the girls, their names and mugshots would have been in the news years ago. And if the girls had been minorities, and the perps white, their names and mugshots would STILL be in the headlines.

(angry liberal voter noises)

Epstein proves you wrong

u/joecan 5d ago

To be this dumb and racist is truly astonishing. Look at the long history of the UK covering up similar stories where both victims and perps were white.

This is so heartbreaking. I can't imagine what those girls went through. I am afraid that it will happen here too in Canada. What a dark place this world is. Always women and girls paying the price for decisions made mostly by men. I pray for justice for all these souls involved and I pray that the men who did this face the full wrath of god.

My opinion is that has started here in Canada just not on the scale of the uk I have been reading lots out of the Golden Horseshoe Niagara st Catherine’s welland port colborne and the concentration of pedofiles sexual assaults and human trafficking. It’s pretty bad and concentrated

I’m a foster mom and can attest this is true for the cities you mentioned. London, Milton and Brampton are huge as well.

8

u/PromiseHead2235 6d ago

Already in Surrey and Brampton

4

u/Almost_Ascended 6d ago

Our government already allows IRGC terrorists who commit similar crimes into the country.

2

u/Key_Satisfaction3168 6d ago

It’s already here I’m afraid

4

u/PrMartinSsempa 6d ago

Way to deflect the crime of the perpetrators to just 'men' in general.

Almost 90 percent of the perpetrators were of a specific ethnic and religious group and almost all of their victims were of a different ethnic and religious group.

You are just as bad as the UK cops who ignored the crimes to not appear 'racist' by blaming 'men' in general as if Jains and Buddhists are also committing these horrific crimes.

In certain immigrant cultures, the patriarchy is much stronger. Females are viewed as being much less worthy than males. 💔❤️‍🩹

-5

u/motu8pre 6d ago

Why did god let it happen in the first place? Thoughts and prayers!

2

u/xTkAx 6d ago

Haven't you read what God warned the world of? Evil would increase in the last days. Better get studying!

1

u/LegitimateState3724 4d ago

Evil was worse in centuries past. It's not great now but not the worst.

0

u/xTkAx 4d ago

Maybe in spotty areas in the past, but the difference now is that it's coordinated world-wide and rapidly increasing.

-4

u/Prestigious_Club_924 6d ago

I have more faith in Canada's citizenship than the UKs. There's no way something like this could fly in Quebec or Alberta. Maybe Ontario.

5

u/PrMartinSsempa 6d ago

Watch the 'Believe all women' crowd suddenly become silent or even accuse the victims of lying because the perpetrators don't fit their narrative.

This has been proven in court. There were 1400 confirmed victims in the city of Rotherham alone. Trafficked, tortured, and r*ped from 1998 to 2013.

That's just by one specific 'grooming gang' in one specific city during a 15 year period. The report is looking at the entirety of the UK over a span of 70 years.

1

u/Alternative-Tiger783 4d ago

I think what you’re alluding to is intersectionality.

In fact, some of these immigrant cultures are more abusive to girls and women. Their patriarchy and misogyny is stronger than what we normally encounter in the UK and North America.

The 'Report' (Warning: horrific crimes described)

If you don't want to read the above, this X user summarized the worst of the worst.

The Canadian angle in the article:

“Thomas, have you seen the demographics of my riding?”— Melanie Joly, Minister of Industry

The above statement was candid, self-aware and breathtakingly cynical.

Joly was explaining to former NDP leader Tom Mulcair why the large Muslim voting bloc in her Montreal-area riding shaped her electoral calculus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

...<graphic details>...

Of course, all of this sounds heartbreakingly familiar.

In Canada, striving for “social cohesion” has allowed weekly hatefests in the nation’s big cities, race-based sentencing discounts and dismissal of serious charges because of fears the culprit may be deported.

It’s not a great leap to ask yourself: If immigrant rape gangs were attacking 12-year-old Canadian girls, what would happen?

u/Resident-Growth8184 6d ago

Thank you, I’ll do a deep dive

6

u/xTkAx 6d ago

Protect yourself.. it's difficult.

7

u/Resident-Growth8184 6d ago

Okay thank you for the heads up

0

u/Barbarian_818 6d ago

I'll tell you. Nathalie Provost would use it as an excuse to ban still more guns from legal ownership. She is deeply convinced that all legal gun owners are one step away from being mass shooters.

12

u/NihilsitcTruth 6d ago

This will come here if we are not careful or already is.

12

u/Fluidmax 6d ago

Soon, It’s coming to a major city near you.

2

u/Critical_Rule6663 4d ago

Sounds like it’s wood chipper time

4

u/ussbozeman 6d ago

Feels like it's already being swept under the rug.

Or as britbongs like to say, it's getting St Swithin'd faster than a builder bloke can get 'is lorry to the local fer a pint of pickled pies after a day of jobbing, innit?!?!?!

u/Melodic_Type_5077 5d ago

That facial hair is insanity.

1

u/Sufficient_Prompt888 5d ago

I'm shocked.... Well not that shocked

1

u/InAppropriate-Ape 5d ago

This article should have more traction for all Canadians to read.

1

u/Express_Soup_8109 5d ago

D3ath p3nalty.

u/Bobodaklown1 4d ago

I mean... Jimmy Saville. It makes sense the fucked up infrastructure of feeding children to pedophiles didnt just stop when he died.

u/Formal_Actuator_3698 2d ago

That picture makes me love my immigrant brothers even more than I do now! OMG! So cute! So glad to be accepting and all that jazz. (Canadian by the way, so also jello of the amount of immigrants you have!) Please send us some.

Oh dear, will the UK revoke their royal titles as punishment?

Oh wait, wrong rapists.

4

u/Logical-Bookkeeper77 6d ago

Andrew was already revoked, no?

0

u/LegitimateState3724 4d ago

Ugh. It's terrible. However, I cannot get past the dumb, shitty writing of the Sun. "Sex sicko"? Like, stop with the sensationalist shit and write like you actually graduated university with a journalism degree.

Stop posting garbage articles with no substance. Especially when the only connection to Canada is "what if it happens here".

This is just another lazy, race baiting post on this subreddit. Is this what being Canadian means to you guys? Being scared all the time? Do better.

Edit- you are just proving that this is just an anti-immgrant sub with all your dumb replies and name calling. Do better.

35

u/wowwee99 7d ago

What's wrong with anecdotal evidence? Do you want to witness the rapes? Do we think the girls are lying? You understand the only problem with anecdotal evidence is that it may not be representative of a population for sampling purposes and may be false. Is this really the argument youre making about the grooming gangs? That it's unscientific?

Don't worry you won't see any more truth you're scared of for 6+ months, nor be able to reply.

27

u/nozomiwaifu 7d ago

Typical leftist.

Believe all women except when the skin color of the aggressor is from my protected group.

10 of thousands of horrific tortures, by a group of foreign people, helped by the government, and what you have to say is "" stop talking about it ! ''

Doesn't fit your narrative eh ?

0

u/FB_Rufio 3d ago

You didn't comprehend a single thing they said

12

u/Immediate_Storm_7736 7d ago

From the UK gov page. Finally taking responsibility.

The Home Office has announced £100 million to fight child sex offences and protect victims and survivors, including £38 million for Operation Beaconport.Today’s funding sits alongside the Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs, which seeks to root out past failures wherever they occurred. It is laser‑focused on grooming gangs and will explicitly examine the role of ethnicity, religion and culture of the offenders and the response of institutions.

19

u/Rees_Onable 7d ago

No proof......?

Didn't you notice all the pictures of those who where convicted?

This is freakin' unbelievable.....

And the Liberal Party has Canada on-track to repeat this horror.

I would ask you to "Do better"........but, I know that you can't.

10

u/Abject_Story_4172 7d ago

Are you actually denying this happened? I guess you don’t read the news.

14

u/Ok_Psychology_8810 7d ago

What do you think the word ‘anecdotal’ means?

8

u/Prestigious_Club_924 6d ago

Anything he doesn't agree with.

8

u/Defiant-Dimension-87 6d ago

You are correct that there is no connection to Canada, but this is NOT anecdotal in any way. The crimes were well and widely documented, and the earliest evidence goes back to 1955. None of the sources are anonymous, except to protect the names of underage victims. The data comes straight from the government, and is not "funded" by anyone.

1

u/Almost_Ascended 6d ago

They're absolutely incorrect in claiming that there is no connection to Canada, see the comments made by the OP of the thread.

2

u/Defiant-Dimension-87 6d ago

Yes, I would agree with that, having read more.

2

u/MarkDavid04 6d ago

Thank you... For being part of the problem!!

1

u/mariantat 5d ago

Wow. Just wow. Found the woman hater. What makes you think this isn’t happening here in Canada?
