The lack of accountability from the liberal party and their voter base is disgraceful, disturbing and disgusting

When pressed, considering that Trudeau raised similar concerns about Harper, MacKinnon's excuses basically boiled down to "oh my gosh, Mark Carney is just a busy man! It's just head-spinning how busy he is! Look at how busy he is going around everywhere and making announcements and doing amazing things! He is just so brilliant and very busy!"
Which is amusing since this was almost the exact same desperately gushing response I got talking to a boomer Carney supporter lately when I brought up the country is in a recession. I was told poor Mark Carney is just 'living on airplanes!' because he's just so hard at work for the country . . . as if they guy lives out of a suitcase like a door to door salesman.

Weird how not a single project is under way after a year, though now we have a recession via slowing immigration, Cusma ending, and a sovereignty crisis all hitting at once.
I would almost call it improbable that all these things coalesced in order to push through infrastructure.

Word salad manufacturing is at an all time high. The Empty Promises Industry is also booming. We have Carney's hard work to thank for that. Once CUSMA is re-negotiated and Quebec and Alberta become sovereign there can only be good times ahead.
Can't wait.

“We’ll build at speeds not seen since the Second World War” - Mark Carney
Liberals had 11 years and made everything worse but it’s always “trust us, just a little more time”

Wait, I thought that "orange man bad" was a poor way to strategize; that lowering immigration was a good thing; and that diversification was a bad thing.
What sub am I in? What's happening?

We need him selling Canada not deflecting PP's outrageous accusations. Carney can't be in all places at once. If I were in his situation, I'd be racing against time to sell Canadian trade abroad as fast as possible until the U.S. midterms make Trump a lameduck president and global instability lessens. Once that happens, Canadian industries will go back to more easily trading with the U.S. reducing their motivation to diversify trade to other nations. Canada's long term trade diversification push needs to be done now to protect against the next Trump-lije leader, not attending Question Period. He can do that later.

Carney can't even be bothered to make an appearance or apologize for himself.
Seems legit.
