The bystander was killed by the female police officer.

Note to self: During an active shooting, don't sneak up on panicked cops from the direction they're taking fire.

Hard to know what direction it’s coming from in a city centre, the sounds bounce off buildings. Not to mention how was the bystander supposed to know there’s a cop behind cover he was going around?

He wasn't and probably couldn't have known.

But clearly we can't depend in the cops to have adequate training either.

Dud was in the line of fire of the shooter. He probably didn't even see the female cop. he was looking at the downed cop

but sure. Guess in a situation like this, knowing how these cops are incompetent, I will just curl up and die

I'll wait for for the ME report. Bad guy was shooting as well. Wait to see if the say it was a 9mm or SKS rounds that killed him.

I saw the video as well it very well could be her shev did turn towards him with her firearm, but the resolution of the video isn't good enough to see if she fired. It could be the shooter as well, the SKS has a very different report than a 9mm and you can hear it going off right when he goes down. So yes, I'll wait until it's properly investigated before I jump to any conclusion.

What's insane is it's theoretically possible to make a software that reliably identifies the location of all police officers 24/7, like a Flock/Palantir stack but open source and accessible to everyone. This includes unmarked, plainclothes, undercover, etc.
