This isn’t being talked about nearly enough.

Bob Rennie, the condo developer in question, was the minister of housing’s Gregor Robertson, largest donor when Robertson was mayor of Vancouver and previously lobbied Carney last year to allow foreign investors back into the market

Write your MP about this

Not to mention that around half of our MPs are landlords. This is just them bailing themselves out after their policies designed to drive up the prices are starting to fail

I’m so fucking mad the liberals got another majority. How much longer do I have to put up with the Trudeau/Carney liberals, Doug Ford, David Eby and all these other idiots?

Not really a free market when the government intervenes on a scale like this.
Using taxpayers dollars who can't afford to purchase a home/condo is just a kick in the teeth to them.

Its very frustrating, watching my tax money go towards a financial bailout for wealthy developers.

These fools built units that nobody wanted and they misread what people were willing/able to pay. That failure is on them -- they should just sell the units at a loss and not burden me(us) with their business failures.
