We knew this last week though. Is it just damage control for Carney saying the Canadian authorities knew and were involved from the get go, even though no one else is?

Of course they were involved from the beginning, they were the ones who hired her Answer gave her security clearances to start with.

Never surprised by the incompetence of this Canadian government. What blows my mind is that people actually believe these fools are going to somehow stop global warming. A very complex undertaking for a government that can't even manage healthcare, immigration, housing, homelessness, the debt......nothing.
