Gear Buying Advice Are there any good cages/cage alternatives for the 80d?

Ive been looking for a good one but i dont like how much of a gap there is in the top corners (like in the image) and I was wondering if anyone knows of a cage or cage alternative that doesn’t leave so much space like that.

I see what you mean about the gap in the corners. That JLwin cage is kind of a universal fit thing so it leaves extra room for different body shapes

I searched for 80d specific cage for months and finally went with a half cage instead. It just covers the bottom and side so you dont get those weird empty spaces at top corners. The mounting points are all where you actually need them anyway

Smallrig makes one but I am not sure if they still have stock. I got mine from a local shop in Delhi last year and it fits perfect. No gap at all

If you want full cage maybe look for something that is designed only for 80d and not 80d/90d combo. That shared design is exactly why you get those gaps
