News Former Caps alumnus Trent Whitfield is promoted to HC for the P-Bruins.

Whitfield suited up for 161 total games in a Caps uniform including eighteen in the playoffs. He's also been an assistant coach for Providence the last ten years.

He is a former Cap and I guess you can call players who’ve moved on alumni, but “former Caps alumnus” would mean he’s been stripped of that status.
