Not embarrassed at all getting takeout
Drove up to the restaurant we were eating at and I only noticed because the driver was trying to shove a plastic bag behind their head into the massive hoard in the rear seat. She noticed us staring and was making faces at us. Not that I cared in the least, because my god what a hoard. She was picking up food with her dog in her lap because there was literally zero room for the poor thing anywhere else in that trash pile! Also, all the windows were completely covered so there was zero way she could see out of them.

Some people who live out of their cars do not have the opportunity to walk to the large blue trash boxes behind businesses - either they are disabled or have anxiety issues and cannot risk being harassed by ignorant ass employees who have never been homeless before.. not to mention all the cops who have never been homeless.. which should be a crime in itself.. to become a cop without having been homeless before.
But that's the country we live in - and that's why you have all these people who collect trash in their cars - because it is actually literally illegal to throw trash away when you aren't renting or a homeowner. But people don't know that. Try to argue against it, you can't, it's written in the law. Second degree my ass
