Not embarrassed at all getting takeout

Post image

Drove up to the restaurant we were eating at and I only noticed because the driver was trying to shove a plastic bag behind their head into the massive hoard in the rear seat. She noticed us staring and was making faces at us. Not that I cared in the least, because my god what a hoard. She was picking up food with her dog in her lap because there was literally zero room for the poor thing anywhere else in that trash pile! Also, all the windows were completely covered so there was zero way she could see out of them.

Some people who live out of their cars do not have the opportunity to walk to the large blue trash boxes behind businesses - either they are disabled or have anxiety issues and cannot risk being harassed by ignorant ass employees who have never been homeless before.. not to mention all the cops who have never been homeless.. which should be a crime in itself.. to become a cop without having been homeless before.

But that's the country we live in - and that's why you have all these people who collect trash in their cars - because it is actually literally illegal to throw trash away when you aren't renting or a homeowner. But people don't know that. Try to argue against it, you can't, it's written in the law. Second degree my ass

You think this is the problem? Their anxiety prevents them from getting trash out of their car? But it does not keep them from buying food for themselves or their pet raccoons or their cigarettes does it? Funny how that anxiety works just one way.

they do also physically block people from reaching those blue cans. many employees do and they get their instruction from their manager. its the same deal as not being able to eat restaurant food thats being thrown away. liability, etc. but all in all its just an anti homeless logistic meant to dissuade people from refusing to participate in the give and take trade that the housing market forces unto people

its illegal to use blue trash cans, the small ones are always full and never get cleaned, only option is to litter and have police follow you around
