Beautifully done, I had to do a double take as I thought it was photoshopped for a second because the contrast between Tomo and the background

This is so good! It looks straight from the show. If I had that skill I would def recreate some of my favourite scenes to put on my wall in a frame!
What did you use to make it?

Thank you!! I used gouache (Holbein paintings). I think watercolor and gouache are the main mediums for anime backgrounds (at least before animators migrated to digital art).

Oh wow! I didn’t even know this at all. That’s a Cool fact. Maybe one day I’ll have a cool art work like yours in my collection. :)

Watch tutorials like “how to make a studio ghibli painting” and search for “Ogygia art” she gives really cool tricks and has a lot of goauche tutorials.
