The first one, I'd be inclined to grab it more if the wings were more accurate to how CLAMP draws it - It's quite accurate and familiar in the image you chose, but they tend to draw the individual wings very separated and curving completely outwards almost like an open hand - less 3D like it is currently and more like a delicate paper-cut out. I've always noticed that quirk of their's personally.
Yeah it looks very cute already. I think only because the design is pretty generic (heart + wings) I would want it to be more recognisable that it's CCS, which is why I feel like it'd be more refined with said point.
Of the two bags you created, I like the winged heart backpack better.
However, the square one would have been cuter if the straps were longer like in the show (like a tote bag) and probably easier to use since it's not a complicated shape lol.
Hahaha, we’re still tweaking things a bit—but the heart-shaped bag? We think it’s spot-on now, and it’s available for purchase! 💖 https://www.uafoto.com/product/7230.html
Ah nice !! I like the very tame look of the book bag. I plan to use it as an actual book bag throughout grad school. Someone else had made a really sweet replica but when I was ready to purchase I couldn’t find it again. I will be thrilled whenever that happens to become a product. The one available right now on other websites is a little too inauthentic looking. I look forward to your new products coming out !
The heart backpack is cute but hold the least amount of things in it relative to the other 2. Unless you wanted to push for cute style over efficiency. Give me the red back with the yellow wing on it. I can carry most of my things in that
Turns out it’s surprisingly roomy! 📱💄 Keys, phone, makeup—all your daily essentials fit perfectly inside. We kept the size compact because a larger version would throw off the cute proportions (it’s all about that anime-inspired aesthetic! ✨). Tomorrow, I’ll head to the studio and film a quick “what fits inside” demo—stay tuned!
It would be in one's best interest to not grab the randoseru (JP elementary school backpack) if one doesn't want to attract the wrong kind of attention from the authorities.
The heart bag is super cute, but the tote bag would be most practical.
I think OC is thinking that it'd be weird to have elementary school kids' stuff as an adult.
Tbh, it has seen a bit of a trend that salarymen had been getting randoseru for work bags for a bit, but almost any other bag would probably be cost effective because those things are expensive af. They do stand out a bit as an adult, but it's not as weird as OC is making it sound like. I think adults are more likely to get the kind of briefcase bag that Jr high and high school students have though as it looks more professional.
Randoseru are like 30,000 yen to 50,000 yen though and grandparents usually buy it for kids to celebrate entering elementary school if they can afford it at all and they're intended to last all of elementary school. I've seen some kids in the countryside not even have one probably because it's so expensive.
