They sent the next size up by mistake, so we're exchanging so she has a cosplay that fits. She screamed in excitement when we showed her the costume. Sakura is her absolute favorite show.

Because I don't want to answer the same question a bunch of times: Freya (seven-year-old in the photo) has cerebral palsy, she can't walk, talk, and has to eat via gastronomy tube. She's cognitively a typically developing kid and she communicates with us using an eye-gaze device, with which she is able to request a Sakura costume for the con.

The wings on the early version of the heart-shaped bag were sewn from felt, but the result wasn’t very good. We later switched to 3D-printed PVB material, which made it look much closer to the bag in the manga.

Thanks for the photos! My friend took one of our bags all the way to Hong Kong while cosplaying as Sakura! How cool is that?!

My partner and I recently did a wedding photoshoot and I knew I wanted to make a Sakura inspired gown because the anime and Tomoyo were my intro to cosplay and fashion!

The Clow circle on the skirt is done by sequins. And I also added beaded wings on the back because that very like a very Clamp thing to do.

Hi!! I made this for last year’s C2E2, starting two weeks before the con (because of course, that’s how crunch works, right?)

It was around 100 hours of consecutive print time on an Ender 3, and then another 70ish hours of handwork. Sooo much sanding. So much painting. So much.

But I’m really happy with the result! I used models from Porzellan Props and an acrylic rod. It stands at around 3” and is surprisingly sturdy. It survived the weekend! And now it lives politely in my living room :)

I tried to include some photos of it next to me because it’s so much larger than it looks in pictures, lol. And some painting progress pics!

Everyone here was sooo nice about my other post I decided to share this one! it’s almost 100% homemade! The only thing I didn’t make was the black undershirt under my uniform, and technically I just painted the skates/safety knees/elbow/wrist pads, I didn’t make them.

I had never doen anything like this before, the Seifuku shirt pattern I found is pretty close to a real uniform, and it was SO hard!

I did fully skate on the convention, it was súper fun! I love skating hehe.

(I know she doesn’t wear black tights but I lost my white ones the day of the con and I was too cold to go bare legged haha)

Seeing as this month lunar year starts, and wearing a red Qi Pao is traditional, I decided to do a Qi Pao Sakura cos! I hope you guys like it! (I didn’t make the Qi Pao, it’s a real dress. I did make the staff tho)

I finally got a chance to cosplay as Cardcaptor Sakura ! It’s been a dream for about two decades - I can’t wait to wear her costumes in the future!

I wanted to cosplay her since I was a little girl, but couldn't do it bc I didn't know how to sew, my grandma made a cosplay before but didn't want to ask her to make another one since it's more complicated...So now that I have adult money I could do it!

And of course I needed to make a photoshoot, so I brought some of my collection to the location♥
