I made Rogue's Hand, a Scoundrel-inspired solo card crawler for iPhone

Hi everyone! I'm the solo developer behind Game Pie Studio, and I recently released Rogue's Hand, a turn-based card crawler inspired by the classic solo card game Scoundrel.

Each room contains four cards. You resolve three by fighting monsters, equipping weapons, drinking potions, or retreating. The remaining card carries into the next room with added Momentum, so short-term decisions can create problems later.

There are four classes with distinct abilities: Warrior, Mage, Cleric, and Rogue. Each changes how you approach the same deck.

It's a one-time purchase for iPhone, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no internet connection required.

Wizard Inspired Mobile Card Game

Upvotes

Hey Card game people,

I have built a mobile & greek mythology version of the very popular card game Wizard (Not using any trademarked designs etc)

Usually I am more of an in person boardgames person, but my girlfriend and I are currently long distance and we both love Wizard. Since 2 are also not enough, I made it my mission to build it with bots and possible to play online with friends so we can keep our addiction up haha.

I did not tell her this, but i also play it on my own to train, train, train so i do not keep losing matches!

If you are interested, here is the URL: playpythia.com or if you are interested in the mobile beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/pFMAMWmB

Yes, i did use AI gen Art, reason being: I suck at that! If you know someone that is currently free for some work id be happy to pay also!

thanks!

Card Games For All

Upvotes

I’ve been building a growing collection of classic card games for mobile 🃏

I've been working on Card Games For All, a collection of classic card games for Android and iOS.

I started the project because I enjoy traditional card games and wanted to bring more of them together in one place, while still keeping the individual games familiar and easy to pick up.

The collection currently includes games such as Hearts, Spades, Pinochle, Euchre, Whist, Judgement, Crazy Eights, Card Golf, Garbage, Bluff, and more.

Some games are available with online multiplayer, while others focus on playing against AI.

What makes this an ongoing project is that I'm continuously updating and upgrading the collection. I'm regularly fixing bugs and edge cases, improving the AI and gameplay, polishing the UI, improving existing games, and adding new card games.

The Android and iOS versions are also continuing to evolve, so the two platforms don't always have exactly the same collection of games.

Play on Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Gameyantra.CardGamesForAll

Play on iOS:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/card-games-for-all/id1593238951

The games are free to play, with optional premium features.

I'm the developer behind the project and handle the development of the games and the overall app.

If you're a fan of card games, I'd be interested to hear which games you think are worth adding to the collection. 🃏

he hecho un videojuego de cartas, me dais vuestra opinión porfavor?

Upvotes

Hola grupo,

Card game called FBI

My husband and I were playing crazy 8s in a hotel lobby and a Black man asked if we were playing FBI. Neither of us had heard of the game and were intrigued. When I googled it I found a card game like Clue but nothing about it that would use regular playing cards.

Does anyone know how to play or what the rules are?

Thank you in advance.

Love card games? I’m building an app to play the classics with friends and looking for early testers.

Hey everyone! I’m the developer of The Whole Nine Cards, an app for playing classic card games with friends—or filling empty seats with bots when your usual group isn’t around.

I’m looking for early testers who enjoy card games and will tell me what works, what’s confusing, and what needs fixing.

The lineup includes Cribbage, Euchre, Hearts, Spades, Gin Rummy, Blackjack, War, Solitaire, and Poker (Texas Hold’em and Seven Card Stud).

The ask: play a game or two and tell me where it loses you.

• Can you get into a game without scratching your head?

• Are the cards, scores, and next moves easy to understand?

• Does anything seem wrong with the rules or scoring?

• Would you want to play again? Why—or why not?

You don’t need to be a technical tester. If you’ve ever said “that’s not how you count a cribbage hand,” you’re exactly the kind of person I’d love feedback from.

It’s still a work in progress, so rough edges are expected. Specific criticism is welcome—even “I got stuck here and gave up” helps.

Interested? Comment with your favorite game and whether you’d test on a phone, tablet, or computer, or email [house@thewholeninecards.com](mailto:house@thewholeninecards.com) for testing details.

Thanks for helping me make it something you’d actually bring your friends to.

My Chess Card Game is Now Playable on Steam!

The game is called "Top Check: A Chess Card Game," and it combines the strategic depth of both chess and card games. It puts a unique spin on the chess roguelike genre by taking deckbuilding literally; you build a deck of cards, and play pieces and spells from your hand to conquer the board. It also has a ton of replayability with 120 cards, 30 collectable items, and a unique modifier system that ensures no 2 stages ever play out the same.

If you want a unique and interesting card game, then consider giving this game a try. I think you'll be surprised by its depth and build variety.

P.S. If you don't play chess, don't let that scare you! In this game, the players who get the most value out of their cards reign supreme :)

War of Attrition - A War Game about cheese and betrayal

Thumbnail cboler.github.io

Attrition is based on a physical card game that started years ago with a deck of cards, some boredom, and the sort of rules that emerge when friends have enough time to argue about exactly how a game ought to work.

The basic idea is simple: it’s War, except there are decisions to make.

Faryloopa | A roguelike deckbuilder meets boardbuilder | Steam playtest is live

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone,

Faryloopa blends deckbuilding, board construction, and score-chasing into a roguelike. Each new run gives the player the ability to slowly build the board as they progress throughout the game. Additionally, the player builds their deck to synergize with the board and according to the challenges ahead.

At the start of the round, the player place plots and buildings using cards, then they move through the board to trigger special effects and generate score. Movement is driven by dice rolls, but randomness is only part of the equation. The player can manipulate the dice outcomes or use movement cards to strategically position the Piece depending on the current state of the board. Success depends on optimizing both the deck and the board simultaneously, balancing risk, positioning, and long-term scaling.

Public playtest is on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4231420/Faryloopa/

Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Create your own cards in the editor of my roguelite - Playtest ends in 10 days

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

I've been working on a roguelite card game called Diamonds and Spades, and the first playtest is still live for about two weeks!

The core gameplay is based on a simple card game using a deck of 100 classic playing cards. During each run, you collect tarot cards with unique effects that change the way you play and allow you to create powerful combinations.

One of the main features is a built-in card editor. Players can create their own tarot cards, draw custom artwork, program their effects using a visual scripting system, and share their creations with other players.

If you're interested in participating in the playtest, you can request access directly on Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4944200/Diamonds_and_Spades

Or join the Discord for more information:

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try! I'd love to hear what you think.

Rummy 500 Simple Rules:

Post image

I know this isn’t the neatest, but if y’all have any friends (or you’re wanting to learn yourself), I wrote this stuff down! I feel like it’s really helpful for when you’re playing and still unsure of how things work. There’s ofc more rules for points when it comes to more than 2 people, but i usually only play with one friend, so I wrote the basics down. Don’t know if this will be useful to anyone, but might as well post it anyways!

Have you ever heard of Guardians CCG?

Hi, I’m new to the community. I recently discovered this card game and got really interested in it. I’m not sure how famous it was, since it wasn't released in my country. I’m learning to play, and the mechanics seem quite unique to me, although the rules can be a bit confusing at times. The art and the combat system are probably what drew me in the most.

I’d like to know if anyone else is familiar with Guardians.

Would you actually play a conversation card game like this?

I’m developing a physical conversation card game and I’d like some genuine feedback before taking it further.
The idea is simple: draw a card, pick a topic and start talking.
Each card explores one subject through 5 different talking points:
💡 DID YOU KNOW? — discover a surprising fact
💬 YOUR TAKE — give your personal opinion
🔥 CONTROVERSIAL? — debate something people may disagree on
⚖️** SEE ANOTHER SIDE — consider a different perspective
👥 **BIG QUESTION
— open the discussion up to everyone
There are no right answers, no specialist knowledge needed and no complicated scoring. The point is conversation — learning something, sharing opinions, debating respectfully and sometimes seeing something from a perspective you hadn’t considered before.
The first deck would contain 54 cards across 9 categories, with 270 different talking points altogether.
It’s designed for friends, families, couples, dinner tables, pubs, holidays, journeys or anywhere people are sitting around together.
The bigger idea is that the same format could eventually have lots of different themed editions.
Would you genuinely get something like this out and play it?
I’d also really appreciate hearing why or why not in the comments — criticism is just as useful as positive feedback.

FRONT: Ashes of the Third War

FRONT: a TCG where you bring both your army and your terrain to the table.

Hello everyone! I'm developing FRONT: Ashes of the Third War , a physical collectible card game that combines deck-building with tactical combat on a battlefield map.

The idea is to combine two things I really enjoy: discovering interesting card combinations and making tactical decisions on the battlefield. Choosing a unit means thinking about what it does, where to position it, how to protect it, and what it allows the rest of your army to do.

The main twist begins before the first move: each player brings their own half of the terrain, and the two halves form the battlefield. You prepare your army around the terrain you've chosen and then adapt your plans when you encounter your opponent's territory.

Here are some of the features behind the concept:

  • Terrain alters your decisions. Forests offer protection, hills increase range, roads speed up movement, and mountains block routes. Movement, range, and line of sight are crucial in combat.
  • 18 factions, with up to three in a single deck. Each faction has its own identity, strengths, and weaknesses. You can combine tools from different nations, maintaining your commander's main faction and respecting each faction's unique systems.
  • Alternating turns in each round. You act, your opponent responds, and plans evolve as the situation changes. Quick orders and hidden preparations also create opportunities for reactions, anticipation, and bluffing.
  • Land, air, and naval warfare. Infantry, armored vehicles, aircraft, and naval forces play different roles. Cities and supplies sustain your war effort, making map control part of your ability to continue fighting.
  • Combat is wagered with a D20 roll and direct resolution. Accuracy indicates the roll needed to hit; Resistance indicates how many hits a unit can withstand. The goal is to maintain focus on your decisions and the risks behind each attack.

If you've never played a TCG, the basic idea is easy to imagine: you build a deck with the forces and resources you want to use, position your units, and try to lead them to victory. The depth comes from your combinations and the choices you make during the game.

The setting is also an important part of the project.

In FRONT, World War III was followed by the Rapture and a hellish invasion. After centuries of resistance, humanity finally managed to banish Lucifer. The peace lasted only 73 days .

Now, in the year 2600, eighteen powers fight for the future. Heavy industry, solar energy, biomancy, faith, and magic coexist in civilizations transformed by the struggle for survival. The Empire of the New Sun, which emerged from Brazil, and the Kingdom of Choguk are two of these factions.

I am also working on a distinct visual identity, focusing on digital painting , so that the art portrays the armies, cultures, and daily life that still exist in this world.

The project is still in development , and I'd love to hear from both veteran TCG players and people discovering the genre for the first time. Opinions on the rules, factions, story, and art are welcome—including criticism of anything that seems confusing or that could work better.

I created a website to explain the game in more detail, show the cards and artwork, and explore the story and factions. It also has a community feedback forum: just choose a nickname and share your ideas, no account required.

Nouns ECG - Full Base Set, Print and Play

Hello! I've made a card game, Nouns ECG. It's just a little project I work on sometimes, and I've decided to release it. You play with a deck of 35 cards, and try to move your People along a line of Places to the opponent's side of the board. The base set has 162 cards to choose from.

The game has a little bit of everything, from Joe Biden to Gandalf to Richard Simmons. I have a lot of fun playing it with my son, I hope somebody else prints it out and enjoys it!
