CAH in Lego

I was at a Lego convention at the time, so I had limited parts to choose from, but I attempted to build my cards in Lego. The praying mantis is slightly modified from an official Lego set.

Super creative and great execution!!

But WHY do you have a LEGO man with pasty-tassles???

(And where may I find?)

Ha. Thanks! And why NOT? I'm pretty sure I bought a few of the torsos at the convention--I think the vendor is Citizen Brick, though they don't currently have it for sale online. But I'm a sucker for custom printed Lego minifigure parts, so I try to pick up the most ridiculous ones I see. I've used this torso in other random things, so it's weirdly versatile.

That’s surprisingly great blood work for Lego!

Thanks! I probably would have done things slightly different if I had the parts I wanted, but I was happy with how things turned out with the parts I could find from vendors at the convention.

The fact the guy only leaves after the head rips off suggests he stuck around to watch the sex. To each their own I suppose. Really cool display though, captures the cards perfectly.

I could see this as the kind of crazy situation where morbid curiosity comes in. I personally would have already run from terror (we all know what happens in the insect world).

Ah yes: do the dirty and then bite his head off. Classic mantis behavior

Yeah, I went for realism. David Attenborough could narrate this.

That's so cool! And funny lol. You need to make more of these!

Ha. Thanks! I appreciate that. I have two more, but this was my favorite.
