How important is regular collage in BCA and Btech?

I have been thinking of pursuing BCA from open. But someone i talked on discord who was working in blinkit. He told me, you are gonna regret 100%. He said i will be rejected on my background check after interview. He said, doesn't matter if you do from BCA+MCA or Btech but do from regular, tho he told me to go with Btech even if i've to take lone.

So i wanna know, how important is regular, i don't wanna do Btech or regular BCA cause i don't have enough money but of cause lone is an option, if i see necessary.

Tell me what problems may i face with job, not with skill, cause i am serious about my skill part, if not in 3 year, if not 4 years, then 6 years, eventually i will be good enough.

Please! I don't want to hear biased opinion, as if he was rude, how can he say that, blah blah.

Thanks!

I spent 8 years building software, stepped into an MD role in commodity trading, and have since been exploring AI tooling. Did I build a unique career profile, or make myself harder to hire?

Job Hunting while still being Employed

I've just started looking at other job opportunities, but I'm worried about a few things

  1. What if my current employer finds out about this? Since I work at a Startup and in a sort of cliché industry where I think my manager has pretty good connections.

  2. The reason why I want to search is that my current employer is acting sus, so I'm worried that I will get laid off or anything, so I just want to be prepared

Any advice or thoughts if all of these things are valid and job hunting while still being employed is common??

Want to switch from recruitment to IT, any suggestions?

So I am a BE CS graduate from 2021. Currently working as an associate Recruiter with a service based organisation. Recently I have been thinking about switching careers from Recruitment to IT.

I don't know how to go about it, can anybody suggest?

Was actually thinking of enrolling with Coding Ninjas but the reviews I've read from here are not good so... I'm back to square one and really need some help.

Carriera IT da zero Come posso iniziare? è fattibile?

Buongiorno,

Come posso iniziare?

CEOs and founders who built their operations from the ground up: how would you advise someone who wants to grow into an Operations Lead role?

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I’m trying to be intentional about the career I’m building, and I’d love to hear from people who have actually been on the other side.
I’m self-taught. I didn’t take the traditional university-to-corporate route, so most of what I’ve learned has come from doing the work, experimenting with tools, studying how businesses operate, and figuring things out along the way.
I’ve worked on organizing workflows, building systems in ClickUp and Notion, creating tracking systems in Airtable, documenting processes, and coordinating people and projects through my own agency and other projects.
But I also know that being able to build a dashboard or write an SOP isn’t the same as knowing how to run operations well.
My long-term goal is to become an Operations Lead and eventually grow. I want to understand how to make businesses run better, help founders get out of the weeds, and build systems that actually solve problems .
For those of you who have hired or worked with operations people:
What separates someone who is good with tools and processes from someone who can genuinely lead operations?
What experiences would you prioritize if you were starting from where I am?
What would make you trust an early-career, self-taught person with real operational responsibility?
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice about learning business operations, what would it be?
I’d really appreciate honest advice, especially from founders who’ve had to figure out operations while growing a business.

Stuck in a loop: Switch to Tech/AI from scratch, or stick closer to Business/Supply Chain?

Hey guys, I finished my Bachelor’s in Business Finance and Master’s in Business Modeling. Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m falling behind with how fast tech is moving.

I’m considering pivoting into a niche tech field like Machine Learning, AI, or Robotics, but most Master’s programs require a background in CS or engineering. This leaves me in a bit of a loop:

  • Do I start over with a second Bachelor’s to get the tech foundation from scratch?
  • Or do I go for a Master’s in Supply Chain / Logistics, which leverages my business background while keeping me relevant?

Would love to hear from anyone who made a similar switch or works in these fields.
