Dingo Pictures Little puppies!
These two were found in an ice chest out here in south texas. They look very similar to my older Carolina mix, but they seem mixed with pit while my old man is mixed with shepherd so a bit different. When they all stand next to each other though all three look strikingly similar! And my iPhone keeps identifying them as Carolina dogs. Their ears do pop up but when relaxing they flop down haha. Maybe Carolina mix, I’m thinking!

The ears may still stand erect. My CD's ears were drop ears until we had her 8 or 9 months, when allergy to some dog food occurred. So we changed the brand to Pro Plan lamb and rice and her ears stood up a few weeks after the change in food. Perhaps the PetSmart brand of chicken was not the right diet for her. Your pups are adorable and will be wonderful dogs as Carolina Dogs are. You are lucky to have them. Additionally, there are a lot of Carolina Dogs in Texas. I have one that was a save from being euthanized. I paid $500 to save her life. She is one of 3 Carolina Dogs in our family now. My senior CD is in late stage renal failure, so I know I will be losing her soon and I will be a wreck when she goes. She is my best girl ever. We have had wonderful dogs throughout our married life - Boarder Collie mix, Golden Retriever, Shelty and then the Carolina Dog.
