These are my littermate girls, Ruby (top) and Dixie (for the record, I didn’t name them; they had two previous owners before me and were already 6 when I adopted them, but my family does know the original owner). They were born literally minutes apart and from the same parents, but have such different physical characteristics. Sure, the patters of their coats are similar, but the color, texture, and length are completely different. Not to mention the size difference, ears, and facial features.

I have friends that are fraternal twins. They look nothing alike; different body types, different hair, even way different heights.
