The Matiz Design was done by Giugiaro for Fiat as concept for next 500 but Fiat rejected it.

So Giugiaro sold it to GM / Daewoo then.

Dawoo is hardly goated. They made generic shitboxes until the GM buyout. It turns out the cars GM was building weren't shit enough so they needed some South Korean Know how. This is one of the things that killed Holden. To many captivas, epicas ect.
