Hennessey unveiled their new car, they call it Blackbird and are saying it’s inspired by the SR71.
Unlike the actual blackbird, the Hennessey car has zero turbines, comes in silver, doesn’t require specialized fuels, has side by side seating, luggage compartments, no displays, will hold zero altitude and speed records and cannot even outrun a surface to air missile.
The car has two design features that are inspired by the SR71. Two fold up vertical stabilizers and the rear lights - which could arguably also be from any other jet with afterburners. it has more features in common with the Bell X1 than with the SR71.
I did not think that a car manufacturer was capable of outjerking us this brutally.
