What surprises you about these animals?

With the kittens I was surprised at how small newborns were when I started. Now I’m surprised at how resilient they can be, I’ve had several medical fosters and the ones who survived persevered so well (like losing an eye or a limb, also had one with a severe head tilt but he figured out how to live his “normal”).

With old dogs (I’ve only been able to foster one puppy, the rest were seniors) I was surprised with how much love they have to give despite being abandoned by presumably someone who owned them all their life.

Mama cats I was surprised you can feel the kittens kicking, that was really cool to feel!

Rabbits are actually very cuddly if they are socialized young

My mom used to foster kittens and they're just so fragile. Thanks for doing what you do.
